McLaughlin Secures Pole Position in IndyCar Qualifying at Fen

Nevertheless, there were some frustrations and disappointments along the way. Herta found himself irritated with Romain Grosjean’s sister team, which had sent their car out ahead of him, disrupting his bid for the coveted front row.
Several notable names failed to progress to the final round of qualifying. Will Power, Kyle Kirkwood, Josef Newgarden, Alexander Rossi, Linus Lundqvist, and Scott Dixon all fell short, with their efforts not translating into a place at the front of the grid.
During the group stage qualifying, McLaughlin displayed his prowess once again, topping Group 1. He finished ahead of Dixon, Malukas, Rossi, Newgarden, and Lundqvist. Meanwhile, Christian Lundgaard narrowly missed out on progressing to the next round by a mere 0.0093 seconds.
In Group 2, Herta delivered an impressive performance, setting the fastest time, followed closely by Kirkwood, Palou, O’Ward, Grosjean, and Power. Felix Rosenqvist, unfortunately, missed out on advancing by a minuscule 0.0039 seconds.
