INGERSOLL Rand, distributed by CAPS Australia, has released the X-Series System compressor controller.
The X-Series System compressor controller can manage up to 12 positive displacement compressors simultaneously, and can cope with units of different capacities, types and in any combination and configuration.
According to CAPS Australia, the controller seeks to reduce the number of compressors used, and ensure the correct level of compressed air supply according to demand.
The X-Series compressor controller is said to manage the compressed air system at the minimum required pressure without compromising supply reliability. It will bring standby compressors on-line incrementally during peak periods of demand, helping increase efficiency and reduce costs.
The controller can also run the compressors for equal lengths of time in order to ensure they can be maintained at the same time to reduce downtime.
