FLUKE Networks has launched the AirCheck Wi-Fi Tester, a dedicated handheld tool for quick troubleshooting of 802.11a/b/g/n wireless networks.
The unit is said to be intuitive to learn and use. It boots up in less than three seconds, then automatically starts discovering networks, access points and channel activity.
The product is used to verify and troubleshoot network availability, connectivity, channel utilisation and security settings.
The rugged instrument can also find unauthorised or rogue access points, see overloaded networks and channels, detect interference and validate security settings.
Testing sessions can be saved, then downloaded via a USB port to a Pc for generating reports or archival.
