SULLAIR Australia says its air-ends have been used by Vanair in a fleet of Underdeck compressors supplied to maintenance service provider Jemena.
The compressor manufacturer fitted the client’s fleet of Isuzu 400 pantech service repair trucks with the vehicle-mounted compressor systems, which are rated to 60 to 80cfm at a delivery pressure of 100 to 150psi.
The devices are driven via a power take-off from the gearbox of the vehicles.
According to Jemena, the underdeck mounting means the equipment takes up no load space, and is a space-saving alternative to tow-behind units.
The service firm claims the new equipment has led to greater fleet operational efficiency and a faster response time to complete repairs. It has a maintenance agreement with Sullair to ensure the smooth running of the compressors.
