TRUMPF says its marking lasers can be used on almost anything, helping manufacturers brand their products.
According to Trumpf, marking lasers can produce every symbol or character, from lines and numbers to graphics.
The lasers can be used to mark logos, product and part names, as well as legally mandated information such as material data, best before dates or safety instructions.
Manufacturers can also use the lasers to mark special codes which distinguish genuine brand name products from imitations.
Logistics-wise, serial numbers, customer data, barcodes, and data matrices help smooth the flow further down the supply chain, and lasers can produce indentations and marking lines for downstream production.
Trumpf claims its TruMark laser marking systems are highly economical, fast and detailed, producing quality beyond that possible with mechanical embossing and print processes.
