TERALBA Industries has introduced the Coilflo miniature style heat exchangers for heating, sterilising and cooling of fluid streams and pumpable products.
According to the Teralba Industries, the Australian designed and manufactured unit is suited for processing low flows and sample batches. The Coilflo heat exchanger has a cylindrical profile, said to promote a highly turbulent flow to maximise heat transfer.
Teralba Industries claims the Coilflo heat exchanger retains the Heat Transfer Coefficients of its Dimple Heat Exchangers, but in a compact, self-draining configuration.
The Coilflo miniature heat exchanger has applications across the food, dairy, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, HVAC and brewing industries. It can be constructed using duplex stainless steel, titanium and with an internally mirror-finished tube for heating and/or cooling high purity products.
