ROSS Controls has introduced the DM 2 Series C Crossflow SERPAR Double Valves with total dynamic monitor and memory for Category 3 and 4 machine guarding.
According to ROSS Controls, the DM 2 Series C pneumatic safety valves meet various ANSI requirements for machine safety, including the Z244 lock-out, B11.19 machine guarding, and B155 packaging standards.
Two identical valve elements integrate memory, monitoring, and air-flow control functions. The DM 2 Series C valves perform the lock out function due to asynchronous movement of valve elements during actuation or de-actuation.
This results in a residual outlet pressure of less than 1% of supply. To reset, the user applies a remote air signal or energises the optional integrated electrical reset.
The ROSS Controls DM 2 Series C valves are base mounted, and available with BSPP or NPT pipe threads. They have inlet and outlet ports on both sides of the bases, and are available in four sizes.
