WATER Trucks Direct will standardise on Australian Pump Industries’ Aussie Quik Prime pumps.
The Sydney-based company manufactures water tankers for dust suppression and water transport. These vehicles come with a rear spray bar and water distribution system. Water can also be delivered via a hose reel, or through optional water cannons.
These features incorporate high volume transfer pumps for fast loading and output.
Smaller tankers in the 10,000L range use the Aussie 3” self priming gushers which produce flows of up to 1500L/min.
Tankers used in high pressure applications utilise an Aussie Fire Chief in either diesel or petrol drive configuration, providing flows of up to 500L/min and heads as high as 100 metres.
According to the company, it chose the Aussie pumps due to the five year warranty, big flow, high pressure performance and overall reliability.
