KENNARDS Hire has a new portable infra red heater available for factory hire, suited for providing warm to workers.
Additionally, the diesel-powered unit can be used to dry paint, and adhesives, and for asphalt and concrete preparation.
The product has a heat output of 111,000 BTU/h (32kW), and a large radiation disc for long distance heat distribution. It can project 150C to a distance of one metre, 50C to two metres and 25C to three metres.
The heating disc can be tilted up to 20 degrees to direct warmth to where it is needed.
A 58L fuel tank allows the heater to operate continuously for 20 hours on the low output setting and 15 hours when set for high output. A built-in thermostat allows maintenance of surrounding temperatures.
Safety features include an automatic shutdown system if the body reaches an above-normal temperature or the unit is knocked over, receives a strong impact or the flame becomes low or goes out.
