KELAIR is now exclusive distributor in Australia for the Albin range of peristaltic hose and tube pumps.
According to the company, Albin has been manufacturing pumps since 1929, with a hose pump factory located in Mountboucher, France. The distribution agreement commenced on 1 March 2010.
The distributor claims the units have excellent solids-handling capability, and are used to handle thickener underflow, sludges, dosing, waste, and in filter presses.
The hose pump range is nominated as the ALH series and has a wide hydraulic coverage with hose sizes from 10mm to 125mm. This allows flow capacities up to 155m3/hr with pressure to 15bars.
The six hose materials available provide a broad chemical coverage.
The tube pump range, called the ALP series, has tube sizes from 9mm to 45mm, maximum flow of 11.4m3/hr with pressures to 4bar differential, and eight tube materials available.
