Perfect Packaging has announced the CardSeal 2 which uses four sided ultrasonic sealing technology.
The machine produces up to 500 products per minute while wrapping cards in CR80 format (59.98mm X 85.6mm). It can also produce single packs or linked card chains of five to 25 cards.
The product features a security sealing unit that uses two standard polypropylene film rolls to produce a tamper-proof package with the four sided ultrasonic sealing seam. The sealing seam creates intricate patterns on the seals which can be generic or customised and are said to provide maximum protection against fraud.
The product has a modular design and can be linked to different types of over wrapping machines. Accessories include camera monitoring systems and labelling units.
