DARLEY, distributed in Australia by IMTS, has released the new generation EHP-TL press brake, said to be faster, more accurate and safer.
The new generation EHP-TL press brake has a longer and higher table, and an additional support beam on the bottom. It also has a new electrical motor bending support which the company says is stronger and faster to mount than hydraulic versions.
According to Darley, it has replaced the DC motors of the previous generation press brakes with new AC servo motors to drive the back gauges. This is said to increase the speed to 1000mm/sec for the x-axis.
Darley claims the AC servo motors have no wear parts, making them less susceptible to malfunctions, reducing the need for maintenance. They are also said to be easier to switch.
The manufacturer has equipped the new EHP-TL press brake with a new hydraulic drive for crowning operations, said to be faster and stronger.
Customers can choose standard fencing or a light screen to cover the back side of the machine, providing fast and safe access.
