MOTION Technologies has launched the Haydon RoHS compliant IDEA non-captive programmable linear actuator.
The system is an electronic drive and a control unit integrated with a linear actuator.
It features full programmability through a graphic user interface, as opposed to command sets or other proprietary programming languages. It is capable of up to 20 inch stroke length, with a variety of screw pitches available for fine resolution linear motion.
According to the manufacturer, the product is suited for small gantry robots, motion systems for optics and lasers, high resolution imaging, and other applications which require precise linear motion.
