MASTER Bond has released the Supreme 45HTQ sensor epoxy adhesive which can withstand long term exposure to hostile environments, high temperatures, radiation and chemicals.

According to Master Bond, the Supreme 45HTQ sensor adhesive is very stable and durable, and is suited for bonding and encapsulating transducers, gauges, actuators and sensors in harsh environments.

The epoxy combines a quartz filler and a special amine compound. It can withstand acids and oils, water, steam and long term exposures of 205 to 260°C.

Master Bond claims the 45HTQ adhesive allows accurate pressure and temperature measurements, as it has been formulated with a low CTE. The product will retain its physical strength properties at radiation doses up to 1010rads.
