IFM efector has released the PQ series of pressure sensors for pneumatic applications.
Based on a piezoresistive measuring element, the PQ pressure sensors will measure the pressure in the negative pressure and overpressure range in pneumatic applications.
According to ifm efector, the PQ pressure sensors’ silicon measuring cell is insensitive to liquids and deposits that might occur in the system. It is said to have a high overload resistance, as well as an accuracy of ±0.5 %. Pressure range is from -1 to 1 bar or -1 to 10 bar.
A slanted display aids readability and handling, while the two colours of the display indicates the switching status. The sensor can be programmed using two pushbuttons.
The sensor can be fixed to flat surfaces and profiles using the two M4 drill holes on the front. It can be fixed to a DIN rail using the DIN rail clip. The sensor is screwed to the clip.
