FANTECH has released the Vacon range of HVAC AC drives in Australia, which are said to enhance motor performance with lower starting currents.
According to the company, the AC drives have a reputation for being of high quality, and can cut running costs, resulting in energy savings and a smaller carbon footprint.
The products have a modular design, and are available with 240, 415 and 690V options. They have the capacity for several I/O cards and field-installable conversion kits. Users can choose between air-cooled or purpose designed liquid-cooled drives.
The distributor claims the NXL and NXS drives are popular units suited for most HVAC applications. The NXS has integrated protection against supply network disturbances for increased reliability.
