Eaton announced its High Flow Mechanically Cleaned Strainer (MCS), which is designed to help conserve process water while protecting equipment from debris.
The High Flow MCS-500 and the High Flow MCS-1500 are designed to handle fresh water from treated sources, as well as additional challenges that water filtration can bring to industrial manufacturing. The company said the strainers afford minimal purge volumes, enabling users to save on the cost of chemical treatments and heating energy.
Featuring fast-cleaning, magnetically coupled actuation, the strainer’s configuration helps improve and reduce maintenance and downtime. Features of the High Flow MCS include minimal purge for low-waste operation, in-line installation, no dynamic seals, and continuous operation.
