Eltek Valere are proud to announce the release of their second ‘High Efficiency’ (HE) Rectifier module.
Following closely on the heels of the Flatpack 2 HE 48V Rectifier, the 24V DC module and systems are the first to offer more than 95 per cent peak efficiency compared to industry state-of-the-art of up to 90 per cent.
The Flatpack 2 24/1800 HE is a stand-alone 24-volt AC-to-DC power rectifier and battery charger that provides up to 1.8kW at nominal input.
The rectifier can be used in a variety of system enclosures from Eltek Valere and can scale up to 48kW.
The Flatpack 2 24/1800 HE also provides intelligent self-protective features like reduced output power at high temperatures or low mains.
All Flatpack 2 24/1800 HE rectifiers C tick and CE marked, L recognized and NEBS compliant.
“Currently there are very few ways for telecom operators to reduce operating costs and cut their emissions," Eltek Valere managing director Neil Ewen said.
"The Flatpack2 HE is one of the few concrete steps the industry can take to reduce their carbon footprint, while at the same time lowering operating costs.
"Savings on energy consumption makes the payback period only 12 to 24 months, so this product also makes very good business sense."
In the future, the company will extend its power saving technology across its entire rectifier product line as well as its controllers and systems, and could adapt it to products for IT/data centers, alternative energy generation, industrial and utility markets.
