SANTERNO has released a range of flux vector drives and three Sinus models with power ratings ranging from 0.4 kW to 2 MW and supply voltages up to 690 V AC.
Each drive has a variety of I/O configurations in digital and analogue control, with optional expansion cards available for more demanding applications.
The devices have the ability to integrate with a variety of fieldbus communication protocols including DeviceNet, Profibus DP, Ethernet and Modbus, plus they have a minimal footprint size.
The range has the ability to program the drives, save configuration files, perform data logging functions and graphically view real-time data using the ‘Remote Drive’ software.
The Nano is available from 0.4 kW to 2.2 kW to suit a single phase 200 V to 240 V AC supply, and contains front panel controls and a panel-mounted potentiometer for speed control.
The Nano drive is suitable for basic motor starting requirements, and operates in basic V/f operation or in sensor-less flux vector mode for improved torque control.
The Micro is available from 0.4 kW to 7.5 kW in single-phase 200V to 240V AC and three-phase 380 V to 480 V AC models.
The Micro has firmware capability and the same features as the Nano, making the drive suitable for use in HVAC installations.
The Micro also has 200% starting torque capability, built-in dynamic braking, and the ability to use additional brake resistors to achieve higher breaking torque.
The Penta is available from 4 kW to 1100 kW in three-phase 380 to 500 V AC supply and 75 kW to 2 MW in three-phase 525 V to 690 V AC supply.
The IP54 drive is a standalone wall-mounted device which can be expanded to include a choke, push buttons, and switches without affecting the integrity of the IP rating.
The products are distributed by NHP.
