ABB has announced the electromagnetic WaterMaster flowmeter with in-situ flowmeter verification capability.
The unit is designed specifically for the water, wastewater and effluent sewage markets, and is available in sizes from 40 to 2200mm. The manufacturer claims its field service teams are fully trained to undertake a comprehensive verification service utilising the system.
According to the company, the instrument has a VeriMaster software system built-in for verification and validation across a performance-wide matrix. The software also allows a printed verification certificate to be produced for regulatory compliance. A sensor with an octagonal bore at core sizes provides precision flow measurement.
The system simultaneously uses the HART protocol, remote HMI and cyclic data output for zero measurement loss during data capture.
