FLUID Components International has released the 180 Series OEM flow and level sensors said to offer broad range, high accuracy and reliable performance.
The company claims the units utilise its thermal dispersion sensor technology for improved accuracy and response.
The sensor series is said to be suited for boiler systems, burners, industrial furnaces, chillers, air and gas compressors, blowers and dryers, co-gen power generators and other equipment requiring flow or level sensing as part of its control or operating system.
The products provide switching, alarming, rate metering and totalizing of air, gases or liquids. They feature no moving parts, and have a minimally invasive sensor design for reduced maintenance. The platinum RTD sensors are mounted in fully sealed miniature thermowells to avoid contamination.
According to the manufacturer, the sensors can be embedded in new product designs, or used as upgrades or replacements to existing sensors.
