FLIR has introduced the GF300, a non-radiometric IR camera for gas leak detection, capable of finding methane emissions or other VOCs.
The FLIR GF300 IR camera offers real-time visualisation of gas leaks, can detect small leaks, and allows technicians to scan large areas rapidly and trace leaks to their source, reducing inspection time.
The FLIR GF300 IR camera includes internal data/video storage, digital camera and GPS functions, and a tiltable high-resolution viewfinder.
According to FLIR, the GF300 IR camera is suited for monitoring plants where it is difficult to reach with contact measurement tools. It is also safer, as potentially dangerous leaks can be monitored from several meters away.
The instrument detects benzene, ethanol, ethylbenzene, heptane, hexane, isoprene, methanol, MEK, MIBK, octane, pentane, 1-pentene, toluene, xylene, butane, ethane, methane, propane, ethylene, and propylene.
