Flexilift’s Hyundai forklifts adapted for HACCP

  • Published: 01/02/2010

FLEXILIFT Australia says Hyundai forklifts can now be adapted to suit all HACCP food safety requirements.

According to Flexilift Australia, the Hyundai forklifts are delivered specifically to order, rather than stockpiled. This arrangement means Hyundai can make various alterations to units while adhering to a turnaround of four to six weeks.

The manufacturing plant in Korea can tailor the Hyundai forklifts to HACCP guidelines, making them suited to food handling and processing duties.

Hyundai says these modifications include measures to protect food from contamination during transport, and also enhancements to sanitisation and cleaning effectiveness. Parts with the potential to leak are also sealed.

Both LPG powered and battery powered Hyundai forklifts can be adapted for food handling. Specific changes can include stainless steel tine extensions, dust proofing, static nullification, and anti-bacterial sprays for entire vehicles.
