FANQUIP has released The Giant, a big under-roof fan which blows a breeze over a wide footprint.
According to Fanquip, The Giant fan can be customised with diameters ranging from 2.5m up to 7.5m, or more if required.
The Giant has an aerofoil blade system for an extended footprint. A 5m diameter system can cover a 25m by 25m area. Maximum revolutions do not exceed 60 per minute, for gentle cooling effects.
Fanquip says the high-volume fan design at very low speed provides a good balance between air velocity and volume for optimised cooling. The company claims fan cooling is a more natural to cool workers because it does not impose a sudden temperature drop.
The Giant fan can operate on reverse cycle, allowing the unit to quickly remove stale or hot air.
