ENERPAC has released a range of industrial grade lifting bags and controls which use compressed air up to 116psi or water for lifting, pushing, pressing and moving loads.
The Kevlar reinforced products are suited for load capacities from 3.1 to 67.2t. According to the company, they feature the highest friction surface available and have a marked centre target increasing operational safety.
The manufacturer says the lifting bags complement its range of range of high-pressure hydraulic lifting equipment, as well as its new system of plastic cribbing blocks and wedges which stabilise heavy loads after they have been lifted.
The units have collapsed heights from 28 to 31mm for easy access under and around loads. They extend to heights from 157 to 541mm.
Due to the non-slip high-friction surface, the bags can be stacked up to two high to increase lifting capabilities. They are made from oil- and chemical-resistance rubber, and can operate in temperatures from 0 to 90°C.
