TURCK says it has equipped its BIM-UNR, BIM-UNT and Q-pak sensors with WeldGuard protection, for protection from weld slag and spatter.
The protective material applied to the sensors’ faces allows them to be used safely in MIG and TIG welding environments. Protective sleeves are also available to protect the attached connector and cordset.
According to the manufacturer, its magnetic cylinder position sensors are among the most compact units on the market. The BIM-UNR mounts within C-groove cylinders, while the BIM-UNT mounts in T-groove, dovetail or tie rod pneumatic cylinders.
The Q-pak uprox+ factor 1 proximity sensors feature an extended sensing range of eight millimetres for all metal types, including copper, aluminium and stainless steel.
