COSTA Logistics has upgraded its warehouse management systems to the latest version of Manhattan Associate’s Warehouse Management solution.
The warehousing and distribution services provider has been using the WMS since 2000, but decided to upgrade for the improved labour management features and overall functionality.
According to Manhattan, the logistics business can now deploy its supply chain intelligence platform application.
The upgrade was successfully rolled out at the company’s Derrimut headquarters in Melbourne and the Jandakot facility in Perth. The final stage of the implementation, at the Eastern Creek distribution centre in Sydney, took place in December 2009.
Costa Logistics says it used the upgrade to seamless implement the WMS and SCI solutions, enhancing its reporting and analytical capabilities.
