Contactors and thermal overload relays

  • Published: 05/11/2008

Schneider Electric’s new Everlink terminal technology means the connection force on each cable is assured, even in the event of conductor creep.

Schneider Electric now offers a new range of contactors LC1D from 40A to 65A and thermal overload relays LRD3, using Everlink connection technology.

This is in addition to its latest motor circuit breaker GV3, launched in 2007.

The unique Everlink technology assures a permanent, quality tightening of the cable conductors.

Even in the event of conductor creep, the connection force on the cables is assured because the spring effect of the power connectors provides a stronger, safer, long-term connection.

The motor circuit breakers, thermal relays and contactors feature great connection reliability combined with a compact size and ease of installation that are unrivalled.

Installation is easy.

To connect the circuit breaker and the contactor, simply unclip the terminal and connect the two components together by using an Allen key.

No wires, additional products or accessories are necessary.

Saving space is essential in any installation.

The ‘S’ shape busbar system allows you to assemble a motor starter on a single rail.

The complete range of busbars and interlocks make connection easy, and eliminating the use of wires means you can build a reversing starter in just two minutes without any risk of wiring errors.

The new TeSys motor control and protection products save users space and time, while increasing reliability and safety with Schneider Electric’s patented Everlink technology.
