HBM says its GEN2i data recorder has compact dimensions and is simple to operate, making it suited for maintaining, servicing and commissioning industrial devices.
The data recorder is available with four, eight or 16 input channels. The input amplifiers range from insulated types with 200kS/s per channel via bridge and IEPE modules, up to fast racks with 100MS/s.
The fast racks are suitable for fault-tracing in electric systems or transient data acquisition during ballistic tests.
The company says the measurement data can be written directly onto the integrated SSD or temporarily stored in the RAM of the measuring cards.
The modular measurement data and transient data acquisition software is based on Microsoft’s Windows 7 operating system. The device comes with the standard version of the company’s Perception software to provide a unique dual operating concept.
