CHAMPION Compressors has introduced its EcoPak range of compressors, combining variable speed drive with variable output control technologies.
According to the company, the range delivers energy-efficient compressed air at the top end of capacity, while offering the widest turn-down of any compressor on the market.
The products are suited for applications where there are widely varying compressed-air demands. They are available in nine models, from 50 to 250kW.
The manufacturer says by fusing two different energy-saving features, and combining these with larger-than-normal airends, it created units which run efficiently at 100% load for extended periods.
The compressors automatically vary both the motor speed and the airend length to maximise its efficient operating range.
