CAPS Australia says it now offers custom-designed and manufactured options in the Airman range of portable diesel compressors.
According to the manufacturer, local companies which wanted a tailored, portable diesel air compressor had to import the units, pay for modifications or attempt to modify existing systems in-house.
The company says its manufacturing facility can now provide machines modified to meet various individual requirements, including Mine Safe applications.
Australian-designed and sourced heavy duty trailer components are standard fitment on the compressors, and the manufacturer can also match the tyres to the towing vehicle.
Options which can be locally fitted include after-coolers and water separators, environmental containment bases, lockable battery isolators, emergency stop buttons, spark arrestors, fire extinguishers, and custom paint jobs.
The Airman range includes boxed type, skid mounted and portable, trailer type compressors, as well as silenced diesel-driven air compressors.
