The rugged 7-inch widescreen tablet with Gobi 200 and MaxView technology includes an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a solid state 64GB hard drive. It runs Microsoft Windows 7 Professional.
According to AvanTEC, the Algiz 7 tablet PC comes standard with Bluetooth and 802.11 WLAN, as well as GPS navigation and a two-megapixel digital camera with LED light.
The Algiz 7 tablet PC includes dual 2400mAh battery packs which can be hot-swapped without having to shut down. Optional Gobi 2000 technology can be specified for high-speed data transmission.
AvanTEC claims the MaxView screen technology allows the tablet to be read easily even in direct sunlight.
