AMS Instrumentation & Calibration says the Fluid Components International MT91 multi-point gas mass flow meter has received TÜV Certification for QAL1 compliance.
The MT91 gas mass flow meter is used for combustion air flow monitoring, flue gas recirculation, CEMS stack monitoring, scrubber and precipitator balancing, and heavy duty industrial HVAC applications.
In accordance with the latest CEN and MCERTS guidelines, FCI’s MT91 flow meter was tested by TÜV Rheinland Germany. It was found to comply to EN 15267-1: 2009: EN 15267-2: 2009: EN 15267-3: 2007 and EN 14181: 2004.
According to AMS Instrumentation & Calibration, the FCI MT91 is designed for gas flow measurement in large diameter pipes, stacks and ducts. The multi-point system can average up to 16 sensing points placed strategically across a stack’s cross-sectional area.
The MT91 gas mass flow meter uses FCI’s no-moving parts thermal dispersion sensor technology, allowing for minimal maintenance, and a low life-cycle cost.
AMS Instrumentation & Calibration claims the MT91 has temperature-compensated flow sensor electronics which eliminate drift, allowing high accuracy and repeatability with configurations available for operation in high temperature environments up to 454°C.
