Western Sydney Manufacturing Week

WESTERN Sydney Manufacturing Week 2008 will kick off on the 12th of May, with an Innovation Technology Showcase highlighting technical, process, and business model innovations in Western Sydney.

The event will feature leading collaborative research and technology projects along with capabilities developed by key research and educational institutes and their applications in the manufacturing industry.

The event will include workshop sessions led by manufacturing industry experts who will demonstrate, using case studies, how methods of collaboration can be used to achieve international success.

The event will explore themes including collaborative research and development, new technologies and technology road mapping.

The event will also explore business processes and models, and collaborative partnering to secure contracts within a global supply chain.

The event will take place from 2.00 pm on Monday, 12 May, at The Novotel, Sydney Olympic Park.
