TURCK has released a range of two-wire DC sensors that incorporate Uprox+ technology and quick-disconnect capabilities.
The unit features an integrated pre-damping protection function to reduce the metal free mounting area in applications, and Uprox+ technology provides extended sensing ranges for all metal types.
This allows traditionally flush mounted sensors to be recessed by half a turn for increased mechanical protection.
Non-flush mounted sensors may be embedded in metal up to the outer edge of the thread on barrel style sensors, and on all four sides of rectangular style sensors, causing only a slight reduction in sensing distance.
The two-wire Uprox+ sensors are available in M12, M18, M30, and CK40 body styles, with cable and quick-disconnect options.
This provides an easy replacement for mechanical switches, as the new sensor can be connected to the existing cable network.
The sensors are weld field immune and available with Teflon and protective coating for further protection in welding applications.
