SIEMENS has named Tasmanian Process Instruments as its sole authorised reseller for Automation, Drive Technology and Process Instrument in the state.
Tasmanian Process Instruments (TPI) will provide inventory assistance, pre- and post-sale technical support, as well as personalised and complete service across the multiple Siemens platforms.
According to Siemens, the new arrangement expands on its previous association with TPI, which was limited to the supply of Process Instrumentation products. The companies hope the new status for TPI will lead to faster, more efficient service for local installation.
TPI claims having a local reseller for Siemens’ Automation, Drive Technology and Process Instrumentation products will significantly benefit the Tasmanian industrial and manufacturing sectors, increasing machine cycle speeds and reducing overall assembly costs.
