BALLUFF-Leuze has released a series of reflection light scanners with an increased setting range.
The range includes high-speed commissioning with the aid of brightVision and Ultra-Lock, with reliable detection of objects.
The unit features an operating range up to 2500 mm and reliable detection of dark and shiny objects even where long working distances are involved.
Special versions of the sensors are available with an optimised light spot, permitting reliable detection of coloured structured objects against a close background.
The sensors are suitable for applications in the woodworking industry, conveying and packaging, and the machine engineering sector.
The housing of the HRT 46B is compatible with commonly used designs, with protection rating IP67 and IP69K.
The range is ECOLAB certified, and long service periods are achieved even where intensive cleaning cycles are required.
The scanners are capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -30 to 60°C.
