Robotic press brake
SAFAN has released a robot press brake with integrated control system.
By fully integrating the control system, the control software is simple and user-friendly, allowing machine operators to set bending programmes.
The programmes automatically generate the movements of two robots, giving a large degree of flexibility.
Up to recently, robot press brakes were nothing more than a combination of a manual press brake and a robot in principle.
The press brake allows high yield per floor area, and the machine can be employed for different products, batch sizes, and simultaneous production of two products.
The robotic arms of the unit are mounted on the frame horizontally, leaving the floor in front of the press brake free for storing pallets containing sheets to be bent.
Automatic format adjustment to measure
SICK STEGMANN has released a differentiated positioning drive range.
The range offers economical procurement of solutions according to user demand.
The range offers flexibility in the selection of output power, with 25 W, 30 W, 35 W or 45 W drives available.
The 25 W model is suitable for replacing auxiliary axles on smaller hand-wheels that require low power.
The 30 W and 45 W versions offer self-retention, which means the drive on the particular axle cannot be turned in a power-free state.
Regardless of the power output and the retention moment, all positioning drives are available with 64 to 1,024 resolvable rotations.
Machine auxiliary axles can be re-adjusted to any number of formats much quicker than using manual adjustment via handwheels.
Machine vision products gain Rockwell approval
DALSA’s IPD Vision Appliance products have been approved for participation in the Rockwell Automation Encompass Program.
Rockwell’s Encompass program identifies and references third-party products that complement Rockwell Automation products.
Dalsa is exclusively supported in Australia and New Zealand by Adept Electronic Solutions.
IPD Vision Appliance products that have been approved include the VA20, VA21, VA30, VA31, VA40, VA41, VA50, and VA51.
