Integrated architecture on tour

THE next phase of Rockwell Automation’s Automation University event is about to kick-off, with venues set for South Australia, and Victoria.

The June and July dates follow the event’s tour of regional and capital city locations throughout Queensland and New South Wales earlier in the year.

The company’s free, hands-on workshops offer the chance to work directly with products and software that form part of the company’s Integrated Architecture approach for plant-wide control and information systems.

“Participants find it’s a great opportunity to roll-up their sleeves and get hands-on experience working directly with products in each of the two-hour labs.” Rockwell Automation marketing communications manager Ross Vaughan said.

The workshops focus on different aspects of the Logix multi-disciplinary control platform, such as safety and process control, along with an introduction to a selection of FactoryTalk production software.

The Automation University will be at the Adelaide Convention Centre on June 11 and 12, Melbourne’s Hemisphere Conference Centre on June 24, and the Melbourne Airport Hilton on June 26.
