INDUSTRIAL control users can now select from an expanded range of Allen-Bradley VersaView industrial computers, with the addition of light Industrial and heavy industrial products.
The range is designed to provide the open computing platform for Rockwell Automation’s Integrated Architecture-based applications.
The light industrial range, designed for moderate temperature, vibration and shock conditions, can withstand up to 40°C operational temperature, and 0.5 g and 10 g operational vibration and shock respectively.
The light Industrial systems feature continuous-duty hard disk performance, dual shock-resistant drive bays for storage expansion, and communications ports for additional touchscreens via RS232 or USB connectivity.
The range includes multiple screen and mounting options.
The heavy industrial range has also been expanded, with the introduction of solid-state drive options for harsh and critical applications.
Solid-state drive technology enables 1.5 g operational vibration, and 15 g operational shock ratings.
The range has an operational temperature rating up to 50°C.
Both heavy and light ranges feature Class 1 Division 2 certification, Pentium processors, continuous-duty hard disk performance, capacitive touch-screen options and mission-critical solid-state drives.
