Champion Compressors adopts ACE operating system

CHAMPION Compressors says it has adopted the Achieving Competitive Excellence operating system developed by United Technologies.

Champion Compressors claims the ACE operating system helps it streamline its business and manufacturing processes.

ACE is said to link quality with productivity, with the reasoning that cost-efficiency follows if a manufacturing process is executed without error or interruption.

Champion Compressors uses a set of ACE tools, which target key areas of the business, including process improvement, waste elimination, problem solving and decision making.

According to the company, it encourages employees to take ownership of projects and shape the quality of its compressed-air technologies.
