KASON has released a centrifugal screener with integral bag dump station and dust collector.
The unit removes bag scraps and other contaminants from manually-dumped bulk materials, while protecting the operator and plant environment against dust.
The unit is configured for installation on a mezzanine and gravity-discharges into process equipment.
The unit has a low deck height, two cartridge filters, and a top-mounted exhaust fan.
Dust accumulated on the filter’s exterior surface is dislodged with short blasts of positive pressure on a timed cycle.
Dislodged material falls into the screener while instant resumption of negative pressure collects any dust generated by the filter cleansing operation.
The screener is constructed of stainless steel and finished to industrial, food, dairy or pharmaceutical standards.
