Broens acquires Static Engineering, SA

NSW high-tech engineering company, Broens Industries, has recently purchased South Australian company Static Engineering.

With a worldwide presence in the commercial and defence aerospace industry, Static Engineering is world renowned for its specialty T.A.L.U (Truck Aircraft Loading Unloading) and T.A.S.L.U (Truck Aircraft Side Loading Unloading) cargo loading vehicles, specifically designed for the Hercules, C130 and C17’s, as well as their array of Ground Support Equipment and Materials Handling Equipment.

Static Engineering was released for sale after the recent passing of its director who established the business in 1958. Broens Industries managing director — Carlos Broens said of the acquisition: “this was an opportune time for us to grow the Broens business, whilst maintaining the intellectual property in Australia. Static Engineering has an enviable manufacturing capability and enormous potential for business growth within the commercial and defence markets.”

Static Engineering is quality accredited to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 and a Defence Recognised Supplier (DRSS),
