JACKSON Products has launched an Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF) with a 90 mm x 110 mm window suitable for MIG, MMA, and TIG welding down to 10A.

The 2400ADF is CE-marked EN379 approved with fast switching speed.

The product will fit most welding helmets and has three arc sensors, with two sensors at the top and one at the bottom, so it will catch the welding arc even in restricted places.

The darkness shade can be selected using adjustable sensitivity and delay controls, allowing the wearer to set the filter for correct protection.

The product’s delay time can be adjusted from 0.1 to 1.0 seconds, as certain welding applications require the user to vary the delay to clear after the arc has been extinguished.

The filter takes 0.4 milliseconds to switch from clear shade four to dark when the arc is struck, giving the welder all-round flexibility and ensuring eye safety for a wide range of luminescent arc applications.

The operating temperature range is -5°C to 55°C, and the filter is supplied with a two-year warranty.
