SHEETMETAL Machinery Australia will display new products and innovative sheetmetal solutions on Stand D40 at Austech 2008.

The company will display the Lissmac deburring machine SBM-G/S 1000 for double sided deburring and rounding-off of flame-cut plates.

The machine has a throughput width of 1000 mm.

The machine deburrs and rounds-off the cut edges of sheet metal plates with a maximum thickness of 120 mm and with burrs up to 5 mm in height.

The machine allows several plates of the same material thickness lying adjacent to each other to be processed in parallel, independent of their shape.

The SBM-G/S 1000 is equipped with several effective grinding devices.

Workpieces are guided through the machine by pressure rollers.

Plate thickness setting is carried out via electric motors and can be adjusted with an intuitive display.

After pre-grinding, more pressure rollers guide the plates to the regrinding aggregates, where the deburred edges receive the required rounding-off.

Sheetmetal Machinery will also showcase the RAS UpDownBend system, with a working length of 3200 mm.

The machine is capable of folding mild steel sheet thickness of 4 mm.

The machine is always operated from the rear to achieve maximum safety.

The front area of the machine needs to be entered only for tool changes.

A completely new gauging system automatically adjusts its size to the actual folding situation.
