APR Detailed Joinery increases energy efficiency using grant

APR Detailed Joinery has received a $71,006 Re-tooling for Climate Change grant to increase the energy efficiency of its joinery factory.

The project will involve implementing a new energy efficient dust extraction system.

APR Detailed Joinery will also re-engineer an air compressor to render it automated. The compressor will self-adjust energy usage according to requirements for compressed air.

According to APR Detailed Joinery, the project will reduce its energy use by 17.5%.
