ABB has released a new range of floor and shelf mounted robots for tending machines from 600 to 5000 tons.

The machine-tending robot can be mounted in floor standing, inverted, or tilted positions.

The robot weighs 900 kg, eliminating the need for heavy lifting cranes to mount the robot on top of a machine.

The robots come with different arm lengths, handling capacities between 130 kg to 235 kg, and a reach of up to 3.2 m.

The maximum payload is 235 kg, making the robot suitable for heavy material handling applications.

The robot can be used for floor-mounted machine tending on machines from 1000 tons to 3000 tons.

The maximum load for the robot is 130 kg, with a maximum working range of 3.1 m.
