FENNER Dunlop Conveyor Belting Australia has selected Epicor’s end-to-end Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for manufacturers, Epicor Vantage.
Designed to meet the needs of progressive make-to-order and mixed-mode manufacturing companies, the Epicor solution will be used to achieve greater autonomy throughout Fenner Dunlop’s Australian manufacturing and field service operations.
Fenner Dunlop Conveyor Belting Australia has revenues of approximately $150 million dollars and employs over 400 people at 20 locations throughout Australia.
With manufacturing plants in Melbourne and Sydney, the company designs and supplies complete conveyor solutions, providing technical support, installation, maintenance and diagnostic services.
Fenner Dunlop Australia also operates a 24-hour service network, Apex Fenner Conveyor Services, a regionally focused total field service operation.
It was in this area of its business that the company identified a specific need for a fully integrated solution.
The Epicor solution provides the company with greater visibility throughout the entire supply chain including Marketing and Sales, Production and Planning, Sourcing and Procurement, Installation and Service, and finally financial recognition.
The solution will enable Fenner Dunlop to track the entire service operation process and identify and schedule the most appropriate service team and equipment.
They will also use the solution to gain greater visibility and control of the financial processes required to manage the manufacturing and service network efficiently.
