MARK-10 Corporation has unveiled a 90° Peel Fixture alongside a motorised test stand, with mounting holes to accommodate a range of sample sizes.
The work table moves horizontally, while the test stand crosshead moves vertically to maintain a 90° angle between the table and the direction of pull.
This fixture is designed for applications in the packaging, food and beverage industries.
Typical applications include the testing of adhesives, films, and packaging, such as foil seals found on yogurt containers and juice containers.
A limit switch can also be used as an option, which stops the motor on a motorised test stand when the slide has reached its end of travel. This prevents cable breakage due to excessive movement.
