NOSHOK has launched its Sintered Pressure Snubbers for protecting expensive instrumentation.

The snubbers are being distributed in Australia by AMS Instrumentation & Calibration.

NOSHOK says unlike competing products, the sintered discs in its snubbers are held intact by a set screw. This is said to allow easier cleaning and/or replacement of the disc compared to the crimped method.

NOSHOK says its snubbers can increase gauge readability by smoothing out pressure surges, pulsations and spikes. They can also help eliminate instrument failure due to pressure shock.

The units utilise a corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel sintered disc for the snubbing action. Five basic discs are available for specific application needs. Exotic materials are available on order.
